Get Scared have been on the scene since 2008 when they released their debut EP Cheap Tricks and Theatrics. Since then they have gone on to release 3 full length studio Albums.

Their latest release was Demons in 2015 which saw a style change for the band which was received with positive acclaim. In a world where a lot of bands tend to go softer as they progress for Get Scared to go heavier was a big risk , But we think it paid off!

Number 5:

Sarcasm

First up with have Sarcasm which is taken off Get Scared first full length album Best Kind Of Mess. The video is dark and the song is great! It also features Escape the Fate’s frontman Craig Mabbitt.

Number 4:

Buried Alive

This was a tough choice and was a toss up between Suffer and Buried Alive in the end we thought Buried Alive alive had the edge and was also a great way for the band to give you a feel for the new album Demons when released.

Number 3:

Stumbling in Your Footsteps

You may be surprised to see this one on the list. Stumbling in Your Footsteps was never a single or a track overly promoted on Everyone’s Out To Get Me but the lyrics and emotion of the song get it to number 3 on our list!

Number 2:

R.I.P.

R.I.P. was the last single released of Demons on October 23, 2015. We feel it was the best single they released off the album with the intro hitting hard straight away and the vocals transition well from screams to cleans. Its another Dark Video from the band but its good!

Number 1:

Told Ya So

The winner is… Told Ya So , With its heavy riffs and catch vocals we found Told Ya So to be the number 1 choice for us. Yes its not as heavy as songs of the latest album but we find it provides the best balance and a worthy second single off the album Everyone’s Out To Get Me.

Picking 5 songs from Get Scared back catalog was tough, we had to be ruthless so we know we have missed some great songs.
