Nu metal is not a term you hear much anymore , Back in the 90’s nu metal was extremely popular and had mainstream success from around 1998 till around 2003. Korn were the band who helped nu metal get into the mainstream, in 1998 Korn released their third album Follow the Leader which reached number #1 on the billboard 200. This then laid the foundation for other bands to join in on the act.
Since Nu Metal’s demise a lot of bands disappeared from the mainstream all together but some still held it together and adapted for the new generation of music. Below are 5 bands still killing it today.
